Local Ecumenical Partnership

In 1999, The Church in Toft was born. St Andrew's Church and Toft Methodist Chapel joined together in a Local Ecumenical Partnership, working together for the sake of the work of the church in the village. The two churches continued to be governed separately and have separate finances (because it was too complicated to do anything else!). Unfortunately the chapel closed for public worship in 2025, thus dissolving the partnership, but we continue to worship together all the time and act as one church under an Ecumenical Welcome. An Ecumenical Ministry Team work together to lead the life of the church.
